The Rolex Submariner 16610 is currently the best selling men's watch from Rolex. This model has been around for decades where its design and make has proven to withstand the test of time. Like most Rolex watches, the Submariner 16610 sports a classical design, with stainless steel straps, a classical bezel and sapphire crystal dial windows.

My dad has one of these in his watch collection. He bought it 25 years ago and is still in top working condition today. As a model that has stayed the same in design for so many years, I was very impressed that the design remains fashionable today. After borrowing my dad's watch for a couple of years, I finally decided to buy one for myself.

Like all Submariner models, the 16610 model is water resistant to up to 300 feet, perfect for all diving fans. Rolex watches are famous for being durable. Not only will the work well after decades of use, but it will retain its pristine condition as well. Most guys, including myself are not good at maintaining watches in good condition (or anything else for that matter. My Rolex Submariner 16610 has been exposed to bumps, knocks and many falls since I bought it. Yet with a little polish and a good soap watch, it still looks very new.

The stainless till body and the synthetic sapphire crystal is indeed scratchproof as they claim. The Rolex Submariner 16610 is an automatic watch, running on kinetic energy. It is automatically powered by just wearing it. If the watch is not worn for a couple of days, you can manually wind it or 're-power' it by wearing it. Among all the luxury watches that I have purchased, the Submariner 16610 is by far my favorite, and the best $5000 bucks ever spent!
